We human beings have inbuilt system to experience positive as well as negative emotions. These emotions are very beautiful as they add color to our experience and lives. Emotions are good communicator. They give us some message that we often ignore as ordinary individuals. But many people like sportspersons do not ignore the negative emotions as they know that emotions are purposive. Negative emotions are associated with physical and emotional injuries. They are preventive messengers. They warn us that something is wrong.
As we know most individuals don't acknowledge the importance of negative emotions, they simply try to ward off them some how. Being a Psychologist, I would like to suggest that pay attention to the emotions you experience so that you could get to the root cause of the emotions and could do the needful to restore the balance.
